Corralco, Chile Ski Adventure
Join us for a summer skiing adventure in Chile! This is the summer dream skiing you’ve been waiting for. Imagine this and you’ll capture a bit of Corralco in your mind’s eye: you’re staring into the cauldron of the Lonquimay volcano, you look around at breath taking scenery, and now you point your skis down, making your descent in fresh powder back to the base of the resort. This is a ski adventure unlike what you have experienced before. With a landscape of contrasts and unconfined terrain, Corralco will amaze the ski mountaineer and intrepid connoisseur alike. Come with or without climbing skins, this is also an area designed to thrill intermediates and advanced resort skiers.
Corralco Mountain & Ski Resort is located in the southern Andes, just 90 minutes away from Temuco, within the imposing landscape of Malalcahuello National Reserve. Here natural beauty, exquisite landscapes, snow, and mountains combine to make this ski resort a world-class destination. Corralco has been a secret for both advanced and beginner skiers for years. With new lifts in place – total 6 – and 1300+ acres of skiing, a new hotel, and NASTC’s week-long ski improvement curriculum, you’re in for your best ski training vacation ever. The optional climbing above the lifts allows those who want to even more vertical and breath-taking views.
NASTC has set the standards since 1994 for expert ski instruction, providing “total immersion” clinics at the most demanding resorts in the world. Born as an alternative to homogenized lessons, we’ve created curriculum that never fails to bring you up a full level. Whether intermediate, advanced, or expert, you will improve, enjoy life-changing experiences, and meet friends you’ll cherish in and out of your ski world. This clinic, like all our others, will be led by staff that are the absolute top in their field, compassionate coaches, with in-depth knowledge of what it takes to create defining moments in clients’ skiing progress. You’ll enjoy an intimate group setting, with a class ratio of no more than 6:1 (client : trainer), and the learning starts at morning stretch, thru breakfast, skiing all day 9-3PM with yummy lunch break, afternoon tech talks, right thru to dinner!
Valle Corralco Hotel & Spa opened in 2013 at the base of the mountain. For the discerning guest, this experience will not disappoint, with 54 rooms, a restaurant, bar, SPA, gym, movie theater, convention hall and 5-star service.
For those who crave the beautiful and unique landscape of southern Chile, deep powder, long runs, no crowds, the best instruction available, and a relaxing remote vacation, this is it. This is once in a lifetime, and we plan to offer it for a long time!

Private Ski Guiding
Private Ski Guiding (from $95-$495 full or half/private or group/customized/all levels):
Design your own day! Our private ski guiding day allows you to design exactly the day you want or your group wants! Want to ski new lines all day? Or gain lots more education about backcountry skiing safety. The backcountry skiing is great this year! Your day can be based at the resort, and we’ll tour into the sidecountry, returning to the chairlifts after skiing long, untracked lines. Or your day can be 100% in the backcountry and we’ll tour up peaks like Castle, Donner, Anderson, or Judah Peaks on Donner Summit. This is a great way to get powder turns in well after the mountain is “skied out,” and to find new terrain if you feel you’ve skied everything at your home resort.
During a side country or backcountry adventure with NASTC you can improve your turns also while out there. Your NASTC guide is not only a certified guide, but a ski instructor/coach who can give you pointers on your skiing technique as well if you like!
Rent your AT skis/skins/boots at Granite Chief, Tahoe Mountain Sports, The Backcountry, or Sports Hub in Truckee. We recommend you call ahead & make a reso.
Beacon, shovel and probe rental from us for $25/full or half day/person
(or each item for $10/full or half day/person)You’ll meet your guide either at the NASTC office (10710 Donner Pass Rd), or at the designated trailhead.

NASTC Kids Race & Freeskiing Camp!
NASTC Kids Race & Freeskiing Camp!
Portillo has always been our summer home and many of our clients who have gone without their families have requested we run a separate NASTC Kids Camp! So we are! Kids and adults will be divided up during the day to ski with their own trainers and then come together in the evenings to enjoy family oriented fun at the hotel as well as family dinners. Kids will run gates in the morning and continue to develop their skills, tactics and comfort on the mountain with an all-mountain free-skiing session in the afternoons. They will have their own afternoon video session and tech talk, followed by a bunch of fun activities at the hotel. The same NASTC methodology of full immersion, multi-day holistic coaching will be applied to your child’s skiing and you can be sure that your child will make some significant improvements to their skiing. This is a great way to spend quality family time, build memories and bond with your children. Your child will come away from this trip not only a stronger skier, but more confident on and off the slopes, they will have made new friends and shared in a beautiful mountain experience that will likely never forget. -
