Hear it From Our Clients:
“Fabulous experience in Portillo! The NASTC program integrates all of the necessary inputs to increase fun and performance on the mountain including equipment/fitness/ski coaching. There is nobody that does it better and I’ve taken many ski courses from many coaches over the years. We all come to improve our skiing but you will leave a NASTC course a better skier and have a new tribe of passionate ski friends. Purchase Chris Fellows’s book “Total Skiing” well before the trip and integrate the dryland training program into your preparation before your course to obtain the most value form the NASTC program.”

Our guides lead groups and individuals of every ability, level, and age through the fall – until it snows. Come join us! As one recent teenage girl said “of all the things I did during my week in Tahoe, climbing was the most satisfying and memorable. I can’t believe I did it! I’m normally afraid of heights! I went all the way, I found things to hold onto. My friends encouraged me and I DID IT!! The view at the top was so, so good. I will remember this forever.”

Chasing Snow – Summer Skiing
Wake up to the snow sparkling under the brilliant Andean sun. Watch condors soar above you as you select the line of descent through fresh powder. Watch the sunset over the Lago del Inca from the warmth of the hot tub. This is a perfect day in Portillo.
Portillo has some of the best skiing in the Southern Hemisphere. It is not a ski area for the meek, its runs are steep, fun and exhilarating. With the resort being private, there are no crowds and often you can have the run all to yourself.
The sun is almost always shining in Portillo that you almost forget you are in winter. When the sun is not shining some of the most formidable snowstorms are taking place. The hotel’s amenities will keep you entertained while you wait out the storm or help you unwind and relax after a full day on the slopes. For night owls, the bar has live music nightly and a nightclub that starts going at midnight.
The NASTC program at Portillo is guaranteed to improve your skiing. ! The terrain and the convenience of the all inclusive hotel and ski in/out setting makes Portillo an ideal setting for a full immersion camp. NASTC’s approach to ski improvement and the curriculum for the Portillo course are surefire ways of improving your skiing.
Dates: August 15-22
Includes: lodging (7nts), all meals, ski pass, instruction, ground transportation to and from Portillo and more.
How to get there: Fly into Santiago and take the group shuttle up to Portillo – you arrive in time to make some turns in the afternoon before the lift closes

Corralco – Chile’s Hidden Gem
Just before the Chilean landscape starts to break apart and about a 90 min drive from the main city of Temuco is the Malcahuello Natural Reserve. Within the reserve is the statuesque Lonquimay volcano, on it’s flanks is one of Chile’s best kept skiing secrets – Corralco.
The ski area is just over 1200 acres and does not include the backcountry skiing options. The runs in Corralco are steep with technical pitches coming off the top of the volcano. It has some of the best snow quality in South America and it’s newly renovated hotel is a bastion of tranquility full of natural light and wood.
