NASTC accepts skiers levels 6-9 or strong intermediates to expert skiers:

• A level 6 skier can ski all blue terrain and groomed black trails with a parallel stance
• A level 7 skier can ski all blue and groomed black terrain with a parallel stance but off-piste remains a challenge
• A level 8 Skier can ski all groomed black terrain with a parallel stance and some off-piste terrain including some steeps and bumps
• A level 9 skier can ski the majority of the mountain but still needs polishing up technically and more tactical development.
