WC athletes do not have as much time during the season to continue working out due to travel and race schedules. Their gym time during the season is focused on soft tissue recovery and flushing the legs out on the bike. All the work to build up strength, power, stability and mobility must be done in the off-season. You don’t have to be a pro athlete to justify implementing a structured training program to your daily routine. It is just a matter of identifying your goals, the desire to have longevity within the sport and understanding how your body works & performs.
