Hi NASTC Nation! Our sense of community feels even more important than ever right now. Each of us is likely feeling increasing health and financial doubt as we face each day. There is so much uncertainty as we ride out this unprecedented time.
This we do know: our active & healthy life style is what we all value and will continue to make a priority. The NASTC business model has always been to help our clients continue to advance their adventure mountain lifestyles and to maintain health, fitness and performance. Like all of you, we are sheltering in place. Our workouts consist of hiking or skinning, and working out at home using body weight exercises or the odd dumbbell or plyo ball.
So, we have changed our cancellation policy so that you, our valued NASTC family, can dream of fun in your future. Right now you can sign up for any NASTC adventure ski trip, ski clinic, avalanche class, or rock climbing day, and be guaranteed a 100% return on your deposit up to one week before the start of the trip. We want you to feel good planning your future and understand we all need more time and flexibility. We all need something to look forward to.
If you’re not ready to pick a trip or class – but want to know you’re committed to doing something fun for yourself, that is ok too, your deposit will be good for anything…and when you decide to apply it to something, we’ll give you an extra 3%. Its our way of keeping our small business afloat and ensuring we can do the work to plan your next adventure!
Thank you for being part of the NASTC family born 26 years ago. During our first season of 1994-95 we ran clinics at Donner Ski Ranch, Sugar Bowl, Whistler, and Portillo. We’ve come a long way together with you all, and while none of us ever dreamed we’d see a world gripped by a monster virus like this, we know we will come through. History tells us that. Hold on to hope, get outside in nature if at all possible, and be in touch. We loved hearing from so many of you after the last email.
We found this article helpful because it names it: That Discomfort You’re Feeling is Grief.
When we all come through this we will be here waiting to meet you at the world’s best mountain ranges and resorts.
