PORTILLO, CHILE - Summer in the Andes 2008
Portillo has been South America’s #1 ski resort, famous for its majestic setting and deep snow. Once you go, you’ll never want to leave. This is NASTC ’s 14th season at this friendly, exclusive, and challenging resort. Ski down to glacier-blue Lake Inca or traverse into huge bowls amidst 15,000’ Andean peaks. With 12 lifts, 23 runs, and all the snow of a maritime range, we have skied it all in August (equivalent of February at home). Portillo is home to big mountain extremists, racers, and every-day carvers, but amidst the familial and social atmosphere of the Grand Living Room and the late night disco, everyone is equal. WHISTLER BLACKCOMB, BC, CANADA - Early Season Jumpstart
From 1995-2003, this was our most popular course. We took a break to try some other mountains with our clients, but now its time to return to North America's top-ranked resort! Whistler and Blackcomb have a combined 7,000+ acres, including 550 acres of snowmaking and 2 glaciers. This is a sure-fire way to start your season right with tons of vertical, top trainers, small groups, immediate video feedback, a world-class village, and deluxe accommodations. You'll stay in the ski in-ski out Residence Inn by Marriott (beautiful condos with kitchens and breakfast buffet). Levels 6-9.

TREBLE CONE, NEW ZEALAND SKI ADVENTURE -

Our NASTC clientele have waited a long time for our inaugural adventure down under and here it is! The
famous Southern Alps range of New Zealand are full of some of the best skiing and nicest people in the world! In Maori legend, four brothers were on a voyage around Paptuanuku (the Earth Mother) when disaster struck and they were stranded on a reef. The voyagers climbed onto the top side of their canoe but the freezing south wind turned them into stone. The tallest of the three brothers became Mount Cook, while the other three brothers and their crew members became what we now know as the Southern Alps. This is the way to ski New Zealand: with NASTC's top trainers and knowledgeable guides at the diverse and memorable Treble Cone. We have guides who have spent years exploring and working at Treble Cone who are ready to show you the best the mountain offers from sun-up to sundown.

LAS LEÑAS, ARGENTINA Summer in the Andes
Las Leñas is world-renowned in skiers’ circles for it’s huge out of bounds skiing. Long traverses
and BIG vertical descents (4,034’) entice skiers from around the globe. In addition to over 40 miles of marked terrain, Las Leñas offers more than half a million acres of off-piste skiing. This is an expert skiers paradise (40% of the terrain is double black diamond), but there is also plenty for the advanced (25%) and intermediate (30%) skier. The Marte Lift, often called the “best lift in So. America,” gets you to epic terrain you simply won’t believe: big bowls, narrow chutes, and the couloirs. The resort 1 hour from Malargue (90 minute flight from Buenos Aries). Lodging options range from basic to 5-star, and you won’t quickly forget the cuisine and fine wines. Levels 6-9

VALLE NEVADO, CHILE - CHILEAN SKI ADVENTURE
A larger resort we enjoy visiting in Chile is Valle Nevado. It is connected by lifts to three other vast ski areas, and boasts the only detachable quad in Chile. With almost 3,000 vertical feet of skiing, an 18,000-ft. peak right behind it, seven 4-star restaurants, and 3 grand hotels, Valle Nevado is a very unique South American ski vacation experience that is not to be missed. You will also have the opportunity to go Heli Skiing! NASTCs off-piste ski improvement clinic will lead you safely and successfully through this exhilarating new terrain at the resort and in the expansive Andes mountain range. Levels 6-9

We love to explore Verbier, Switzerland with our clients. You will be treated to access the Four Valleys by 95 lifts, guided backcountry descents, and NASTC's expert coaching. With peaks reaching over 10,000 feet you are sure to enjoy the alpine panorama while skiing 250 miles of slopes on epic terrain with every conceivable degree of difficulty. We stay at the lovely chalet style Golf Hotel.

LA GRAVE, FRANCE
NASTC and La Grave may have the most symbiotic relationship in skiing. This is the perfect match: big mountains with no grooming and no patrol, plus NASTC trainers and French guides to lead the way. Every day is a new adventure armed with our fat skis, beacons, shovels, and harnesses. A cable car starting in the village lifts us up 7,000 vertical feet of awe-inspiring terrain. We stay in the "Skiers' Lodge," the charming La Chaumine Lodge with just 36 beds and 4-star meals. Levels 8-9
