NASTC Backcountry Overnight Adventure

Embark on a unique backcountry adventure into the Donner Summit wilderness. We will start out from Sugar Bowl Ski Resort and access the ridgeline off of Mt. Judah. From there we will ski out to Lost Trail Lodge in Coldstream Canyon, located six miles northwest of Squaw Valley. This beautiful rustic lodge is nestled deep in the woods and is only accessible by skis or snowshoes. It is done all in wood and has a beautiful great room with plush couches for lounging, a gourmet kitchen and super comfy beds. The Lost Trail Lodge is an ideal destination to get away from it all. The area that we will be skiing through has a variety of terrain with some amazing lines and views. There is something really special about getting away from the hum of the resorts and being surrounded by the beauty and serenity of the wilderness. You will ski terrain that is not frequently skied, you will get feedback on your skiing and learn advanced backcountry skiing techniques. This is a great course for a full backcountry experience.
